Janis Carolyn Bullman Graves, 76, of Henderson passed away October 9, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were noon Saturday at First Baptist Church in Henderson with Brent Bullman and Brad Patterson officiating. Burial followed in Chester County Memory Gardens. The family received friends at First Baptist Church from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday.

She was born April 28, 1943 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Garvin Hooper and Josie Almarie Goff Bullman. She graduated Chester County High School in 1961 and graduated West Tennessee Business College. She married Dennis Graves, and they made their home in Henderson. She worked for 10 years at First State Bank and 45 years with the Department of Human Services, retiring in 2016. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Joint Heirs Sunday School Class. She was Past Matron and longtime secretary of the Henderson Chapter 120 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Brad (Tina) Graves of Henderson; one daughter, Paige (Steve) Bates of Lobelville; four grandchildren, Colby Bates, Branden Bates, Oakley (Kayla) Bates and Heath (Lauren) Graves; two great-grandchildren, Knox Bates and Oaklynn Bates; and one brother, Cletus (Janette) Bullman of Olive Branch, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Mallerie Graves.
