CCHS had four students participate in the TN All-State Music Convention last week April 10-13, 2024. These are audition only ensembles that students from across the State compete to participate in each year. Senior Izsabella Orchard, Junior Nathan Harper, and Sophomore Kenslee Santos all sang in the All-State Honor Choir. They all qualified for chairs in the top SATB mixed choir. Freshman John Frix played clarinet in the 9th-10th grade All-State Honor Band. “This is an outstanding achievement for our music students,” CCHS Chorus teacher Janet Sain said.
Each will graduate with distinction for attaining this level of musicianship.
