CCJHS Eagles Football go undefeated, 6-0

Chester County Junior High Eagles Football and Head Coach Chad Hanna went undefeated for their 2020 season.
To make it even better, they wrapped up the season and put a bow on it with a big win over Henderson County South.
Scoring a total of 252 points during the season, the Junior Eagles outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points and beat Henderson County South by 50 points, 56-6.
Highlights of the game include an energetic start after the Eagles scored touchdowns on the first play of each of their first two drives; scored by Gavin Moody and Dean Estes.
Brennan Rhodes made a great punt return to the two yard line.
Cole Craddock also made a highlight after scoring a pick six though it was called back due to a penalty.
Last week they also defeated Fayette-East 48-6. The varsity team only played 2 quarters of the game.
Between the two games, the top five offensive players last week are Estes, Jaylen Edgeston, Gavin Moody Cole Craddock, Drake Craddock and Peyton Barham.
Estes managed to earn himself four touchdowns, two rushing and two passing. He had a total of 107 passing yards and 41 rushing yards.
Rushing the ball for two touchdowns, Edgeston managed to gain 153 rushing yards.
Next on the list, Moody, is another one who rushed for two touchdowns with a total of 117 rushing yards.
Following close behind as offensive leaders are Cole and Drake with 110 rushing and 107 receiving yards, respectively, and two touchdowns each. Then Barham had two touchdowns as well with 94 yards rushing.
On defense last week, Cole Craddock was the only defensive leader to get interceptions, two of them. he also had four tackles.The other leaders on defense and their stats are as follows: Drake – nine tackles, Lathan Salango – seven tackles, Edgeston – six tackles, Hayden Hopkins – six tackles, Jon Holroyd – five tackles and Estes – five tackles.
