In a duel on the soccer field in South Gibson, the Chester County Eagles were able to keep their undefeated record after the game ended in a tie.
Chris Wilgur scored with 27:50 left in the first half, but South Gibson quickly responded with a goal for themselves about two minutes later.
With just over 15 minutes left in the first half, the Hornets scored again, and the Eagles went into halftime down 1-2.
Colston Callis scored a great shot that had a spin on it, but it ended up being wide right.
Tanner Melguin put the Eagles back in the game after heading a corner kick into the goal for a score to tie with 29 minutes left in the game.
Though the Eagles kept the ball on the offensive the majority of the second half, they were not able to score again for the lead. Neither did the Hornets, so the game resulted in a tie, 2-2.
On Friday, they followed it up with an easy win versus Augustine 6-1.
