Chester Co. High presented with Anne Dallas Dudley Award

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett visited Chester County High School on Monday to present to them an award only 32 high schools in Tennessee achieved, the Gold Level Anne Dallas Dudley Award for having 100% of eligible seniors registered to vote. CCHS Senior Leah Repp was awarded a certificate for the award for leading CCHS seniors in registering to vote. Chester County Administrator of Elections Kathy Vest was awarded a certificate for the award in working with the schools to educate CCHS students on elections and encouraging the eligible seniors to register to vote. Students Caleb Emerson and Allie Riley were also recognized for the amount of service hours they completed during early voting of the Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary Elections earlier this year.
