The Chester County High School Eagles baseball team fell to Lexington on Wednesday, March 24 8-0 after defeating them March 22 10-4.
Then Riverside beat the Eagles 9-2 on Monday, March 29.
The inning that hurt them the most was the fourth in which the Riverside Panthers scored five runs.
Additionally, Chester County faced Riverside scoring two home runs.
On the same day the CCHS Lady Eagles Softball fell to McNairy Central. In Bobcat territory, the girls had a tough time at bat with the best play on offense being a double hit by Mia Hurst.
The final score ended up being 6-1.
Though they didn’t win, there were still some good moments for the Lady Eagles.
For example, after catching a fly ball in the bottom of the second, Tori Trice threw the ball to first for a double-play since the base runner did not tag up.
