When the Chester County Board of Education met on Thursday, October 20, the board approved CCBOE Policy 2.802 “Payroll Procedures.” The district will now get paid bi-monthly (two-times per month) instead of once a month. The adjustment will have payroll payments at the middle of the month and at the end of the month for employees. It will become effective in January 2023.
It was also announced that new awnings will be installed at West Chester and the Chester County Junior High.
During the meeting, the Capital Projects Committee members and the Budget Committee members were approved.
The Capital Projects Committee include Ben Cupples, Clay Rodgers and Jeff Harris.
The Budget Committee includes Shane Connor, Becky Hutcherson and whoever earns the vacant District 1 seat.
The next CC Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, 2022 at West Chester Elementary.
