The Chester County Eagles Baseball team played their first game against the Scotts Hill Lions on Monday, March 9.
The Eagles won the first game by a tremendous 16-0 with Colton Huntt leading the team from the mound.
In the 5 – inning game, he struck out 12 batters and had five RBIs.
During the second game, the Eagles weren’t so lucky and loss 16-11.
The Eagles were scoreless the first three innings which hurt them as it put them down 6-0 going into the fourth. By the end of the fourth though, they closed the gap to 5-7.
Both teams scored 5 runs in the fifth, which still left them with a difference of two.
The sixth inning was unfortunate for the Eagles as the Lions began to pull away.
The Eagles only added one run to the scoreboard, while SH added four.
Afterward, the Eagles could not comeback in the following inning.
Colton Huntt did though score the first homerun of the season during the second game.
