The Chester County Eagles Football team headed to Tullahoma to face off against the Wildcats in the first round of the football playoffs.
Unfortunately, they were outmatched by their opponents and were defeated 49-12.
The first score occurred on a deep bomb to Tyricus Anderson from Evan Schippers for 76 yards.
The second touchdown was a touchdown run by Ellis Patterson.
Though quarterback Schippers did throw two interceptions, fans did see some improvement in his passing during the game to end the season.
He was 11 for 18 on completions for 158 yards.
The Eagles ended their season 5-6.
Head Coach Steve Robinson was proud of his team with how they played against a tougher opponent.
“Hats off to Tullahoma. They have a great team, and I’m sure they’ll make a run deep into the playoffs behind that massive offensive line they got,” he said.
“I thought our kids played hard tonight, but it’s the playoffs. It was a good experience for our kids and I’m glad we got to make the trip.”
“Hopefully what we learned tonight will carry over into next year. We saw some good things out of some young guys tonight that we can build on next year.”
