On Friday, Oct. 25, the Chester County Eagles Football team continued their losing streak against the Bolivar Tigers and lost 30 – 14.
Head Coach Steve Robinson said that “I was almost sure that this game was going to end with a win for the Eagles,” he said. “There was no doubt in my mind.
I told the kids at the beginning of the week that we’re going to win this one. But sometimes things happen in a ball game that you can’t control.”
Nonetheless, the Eagles made mistakes such as covering passes and playing special teams and others that caused them to not be successful.
The Eagles were doing good not fumbling the whole season according to Robinson who said they only have had 2 or 3 the whole season, but they fumbled three times in the first half Friday night which hurt them. He said it was possibly due to the weather conditions.
The CCHC Eagles will play their last game at Lexington on Friday, Nov. 1.
“It’s going to be a physical game. I hope we show up,” he said. “I hope it’s physical on both sides of the ball.”
