The Chester County Eaglettes Softball team and Eagles Baseball team started their season last week, but unfortunately, both sit with only one win under their belts.
The Eaglettes were able to get their one victory over Covington during the Jackson Softball Complex Tournament.
On Monday, March 20, the Eaglettes were down by a lot but made a comeback against South Side, but still ended up losing 8-6.
The Eagles earned their victory that night over Riverside, 3-2.
The Eagles led 3-0 early in the game.
With the middle of the game being runless for both teams, Riverside scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to make it a close game.
The Eagles could not score a run in the top of the seventh, but that was fine after Evan Schippers recovered a ball hit to him at first base and tagged the base for an easy out and last out needed for the win.
As of Tuesday morning, the Eaglettes sit at 1-4 and the Eagles sit at 1-3.
