The Chester County Eaglettes defeated Adamsville 72-54 in their last regular season game.
The Eaglettes controlled the game the entire time.
Chester County was making shots and playing defense well. They stretched a lead of being up by seven points at the end of the first to being up by 24 points at the end of the third.
This game against Adamsville fared a lot better for the Eaglettes than the last time they played the Cardinals. Last time, on Jan. 17, they barely slipped away with the win as they only won by three points.
“I felt we were ready to play. They played well together, everybody played their role,” Head Coach Lee Pipkin said.
The top three scorers were Mia Hurst with 20 points, Ava Craddock with 18 points and Claire Maxon with 15 points.
Going into the district tournament, Pipkin said the team needed to improve some on defense in order to do well in the tournament against their opponents.
