With the wins being split between the Eaglettes and Eagles when the teams traveld to Scotts Hill on Friday, Dec. 17, the teams have still yet to win a game during the same night.
The Chester Co. girls stepped onto the court with some fire against Scotts Hill as they kept the Lady Lions to two points in the first quarter and three points the second quarter. That is the Eaglettes defense keeping Scotts Hill to five points for the entire first half.
In the second half, Scotts Hill picked up their energy and outscored the Eaglettes in the third and fourth quarter, but it was not enough to come back on the Eaglettes.
The defense the Chester Co. girls played in the first half gave earned them the victory, 39-30.
The Eagles versus Lions game was close in the first half with it being 30-28 at halftime.
Scotts Hill went on a scoring spree at the end of the third which put the Eagles farther behind to a point in which they never caught back up on the scoreboard.
The Eagles ended up losing 74-64.
