Chester County Emergency Communications request city land

The Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting will take place this evening, Thursday, Aug. 12, in the Council Chambers of Henderson City Hall at 7 p.m.
During the meeting, Chester County Director Patricia Ledford is scheduled to make a request for land for a new Emergency Communications Center next to the Henderson Fire Department on Sanford Street.
Another request scheduled to be made is the request by the Hendersonô Chester County Chamber of commerce to allow and sponsor a fireworks display at the end of the BBQ Festival.
Other business includes: considering bids received on the replacement of the building backup generator at the Henderson Fire Department, considering an ordinance amending the water tap fees and the gas service line installation fee, discussing and approving the City Employee’s Health Insurance matching rate effective Jan. 1, considering an ordinance amending the City’s Occupational Safety and Health Plan as required by TOSHA, considering purchase of a new frail mower for the street department on state contractor, considering purchase of a skid-steer loader and attachments for the utility department and considering purchasing a four post vehicle lift for the Maintenance Shop.
