Throughout the year, they did activities on tornado safety, fire safety during winter months, earthquake ShakeOut Earthquake Drills, worked in flu vaccination pods, cleaned rooms and desks during high COVID-19 breakouts, active shooter drills and other activities. They were partnered with Alisha Gray of the Tennessee MRC. Gray visited with them twice during the school year to plan activities.
Ginger McPherson, CCHS Health Science teacher and Career and Technical Education Director said she is “so proud of this team and these girls for practicing during the summer to prepare for this! These students have done multiple emergency prepared events with the school and community. This is an awesome group. They represented Chester County and the high school HOSA organization well!”
