The Eagles and Eaglettes Basketball teams have hit the courts to play some ball for the 2022-23 CCHS Basketball Season.
So far, CCHS has played Trinity Christian Academy, Gibson County, South Gibson and Jackson Christian.
The Eagles still search for their first win this week after losing their first four games.
The Eaglettes seek their second win with a record of 1-3. They were able to have a one-point victory over Jackson Christian on Tuesday, November 22; 43-42.
Near the end of the boys game versus South Gibson last Monday, the Eagles were able to inch toward a comeback. Unfortunately they were never able to make it over that last small hump. they were only down by four points, 45-41, with 50 seconds left, but when the Eagles fouled their opponents to get the ball back, South Gibson scored some of their free throws to make the final 47-41. There’s still plenty of ball left to play, so keep reading the Chester County Independent to stay updated on the CCHS Basketball season.
