Chester County High School Cheer showcase spirit at 2022 UCA Cheer Camp

Cheerleaders for the 2022-2023 football and basketball seasons are as follows (back row): Cordaisha Reddick, Brookelyn Burton, Allie Rich, Callista Davidson, Ariean Dixon, Kathleen McDaniel, Tamiyah Bridges (UCA staff), Kaylee Mosier, Ariel Faulkner, Zowie Campbell, Kelsi West, Taylor Morris, Hannah Wakefield, and Avah Kunicki; (front row), Alina Tsitos, Madison Wooten, Auna Hannis, Adilyn Bayless, Auburn Ward, Carissa Jones and Anna Bolton.

The Chester County High School cheerleaders returned to their annual cheer camp June 5-8, which was hosted by the Universal Cheerleading Association at The University of Tennessee at Martin. They earned a Gold Ribbon for their Game Day evaluation and a Blue Ribbon for their Camp Routine evaluation. In addition, they won the following awards in the Large Varsity Division during the final day’s competition: First Place in Standout Sideline, Second Place in Camp Routine, and the Traditions Award for their showcase of school spirit throughout camp week. They also were one of only four cheer teams at camp to earn the Top Banana, and they received the Spirit Stick.

Madison Wooten and Anna Bolton both received the following honors from the UCA staff: the Pin it Forward Award, in recognition of their outstanding sportsmanship; the All-American Cheer Team, giving them the opportunity to travel and perform with hundreds of All-American cheerleaders from all over the country at a major spirit/holiday event of their choice over the next year; and an offer to apply for tryouts for the UCA staff.
