The summer has brought a few changes to the Chester County Marching Eagles including a new Band Director, Marcus Montgomery. Coming on board just days prior to band camp, Montgomery has taken up the reigns with high spirits and a positive outlook. The band also welcomes Lexi Novak as Field Commander as we proudly present this year’s program entitled “Watching You.”

Band camp was held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, July 15-19 concluding with a preview performance on Friday evening for the parents. The band and color guard have worked diligently through the summer heat and the results were quite impressive!

As in years past, the band’s boosters and parent volunteers took good care of the students with food and plenty of liquids. They also express their thanks to the generous sponsors for providing food and funding for band camp: McDonalds, Sonic, FoodRite (formerly Big Star), Piggly Wiggly, Lowe’s – south Jackson, Fred’s, Henderson Fire Department, Wendy’s and C&R Grocery.

The band looks forward to seeing you all as the Marching Eagles take the field once again!
