In sports, the Boy’s Golf team has received the opportunity to compete in the state tournament. The tournament will be held this coming weekend in Sevierville. The Girl’s soccer team will be hosting the district tournament coming here soon in the following weeks. Volleyball started their district play on Tuesday Oct. 5. The cross country teams will be competing this weekend as well in Hendersonville at the Saturday Light Fever race. We wish the best of luck to these teams for the rest of their seasons.
In other news, Chester County High School Theater will perform “Puffs” within the coming weeks. HOSA has just finished with their annual fundraisers. And plans are underway for the Beta Club to go to their convention in November where Xavier Falkenheim has decided to run for a national office.
Also, last weekend, the annual Miss Henderson Pageant was held where Tatum Readhimer took the crown. After winning, she will go on to represent Chester County in the annual Strawberry Festival Pageant later on in May.
Fall Break starts here in CC on Friday, October 8, until Monday, October 18. Students will return to class that following Tuesday where it will be Homecoming week. Look forward to hearing more on that in the following weeks.
As always, I want to thank the city of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
