The Chester County High School Softball team had a double-header on Friday, March 13, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex during the Sara Beth Whitehead Tournament.
The first game they played was against the Munford Cougars.
The odds were not in their favor most of the game as they were scoreless for three innings, but the Cougars had five runs scored by the end of the inning.
The Eaglettes rallied and scored six runs in the top of the fourth, which was the last inning.
This put them back in the position to come out with the win. Unfortunately, they were not able to seal it as the Cougars scored two more runs for the win. The final was 7-6.
They won the second game against the Huntingdon Mustangs though.
With the help of homeruns by Kara Pipkin and Leslie Salvador, Chester County Softball was able to win 8-2.
