The CCHS Tennis teams finished the district well and will have good representation for Chester County in the regionals.
Chester County tennis players will also be playing in the individuals regional tournament.
The duo of Nathan Britt and Ethan Mullins will advance after defeating Scotts Hill’s boys doubles team with an incredble score of 6-0, 6-0.
For girls doubles, Grace Compon and Cecily Davis will advance after being victorious over Adams-ville’s team in a tie-breaker.
Eagles Austin Ketchum and Clayton Austin earned the opportunity to play each other in the boys singles championship for some friendly competition, and Ketchum defeated Austin after three matches (7-5, 3-6 and 6-3). Both will go to region.
Additionally is Emma Grace Miller who fell in the district girls singles championship match 4-6, 2-6 to be the girls district singles runner-up.
As a team, the Girls Tennis Team won their district title already and the boys are expected to have won theirs on Tuesday. Read the Independent next week to find out the results.
