The Chester County cross country team traveled to Westview for a meet on Oct. 20. The boys team finished first overall out of 15 teams with a team score of 53. Carter Welch finished second with a time of 17:08, Tucker Allen third with a time of 17:19, Garrett Robison 15th in 18:59 with Stewart Brown right behind him running a time of 19:03. Cade Thompson topped out the team’s top five with a time of 19:35.
For the girls team, Anna Bolton finished 22nd running 25:30 followed up by Julia Briggs, Cecily Davis, Abby Sells and Valerie Butterfield. The top seven for each team ran at Crockett County on Oct. 27 for their regional meet hoping to qualify for the state meet.
