Chester County Schools award 2022 Hometown Heroes

On Thursday July 28, the Chester County School system held their Back-to-School In-service Program to start the 2022-2023 Academic Year. During the program, Chester County Director of Schools Troy Kilzer II recognized the retirees, 10-Year Pin Award recipients, 20-Year Pin Award recipients and the 30-Year Pin Award recipients. Additionally, the Chester County Schools 2022 Hometown Heroes were announced by Modern Woodmen’s Ronnie Geary Jr. Pictured are Geary and the Hometown Heroes honorees. Left to right: Ronnie Geary Jr., James Carter (CCHS), Sandy Lewis (East Chester), Crystal Wilson (Chester County Middle School), Rachel Morris (Jacks Creek) and Bo Bates (West Chester). Hometown Heroes not pictured are Dock Ivy (North Chester) and Tanya Harwell (Chester County Junior High). See page 7-A for pictures of all of the recipients present that day.
