During the Chester County Board of Education meeting last Thursday, the board members approved the final draft of the 2022-23 General Purpose and Federal Programs Budgets. The budget will now go to the Chester County Commission to be approved by them as well during their special called meeting on June 27.
Also during the meeting, the CCBOE awarded the bid for pending capital projects to E&T Contracting at a total price of $456,944. The different projects include the following:
Work to Williams Auditorium with a price of $76,274 – painting, flooring, new doors and hardware, adding a ramp, and selective interior demolition.
Paving work to be done at a price of $321,070.
15% general contingency being $59,600.
That evening, the board received Google form links to be filled out for the superintendent evaluation. The review and superintendent reactions to the evaluations will occur during the July 7 meeting.
