Chickasaw to host Youth Fishing Rodeo Saturday

The 11th annual Chickasaw State Park Fishing Rodeo will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 8. Registration will begins at 8 a.m. the morning of the event near the swimming area.
Divisions are 13 to 16 and 12 and under. All children who sign up will receive a prize bag. Grand prizes will be awarded for the biggest and most fish for each age division.
Those who would like to sign up ahead of time may send the park a personal message through the park’s Facebook page with the parent and child’s name along with their age. Those pre-registering will still need to stop by the table Saturday morning to check in and receive the child’s participation bag.
