Christian Family Medicine & Pediatrics offers more providers, expanded services and extended hours in new location

Christian Family Medicine & Pediatrics in Henderson has opened in a new clinic to provide more health care services to the Henderson community. The new location is at 656 Kimberly Drive, which is off U.S. 45 next to Tractor Supply and Brenda’s Kitchen.
The clinic, which opened Monday in the new building, offers primary care and walk-in acute care for the entire family, from newborns to the elderly.
Family Nurse Practitioner Amanda Hearn, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has been seeing patients at the clinic’s former location – 236 North Avenue in Henderson – for seven years. Joining her in the new location are a pediatric nurse practitioner, a family nurse practitioner and two part-time nurse practitioners.
Christian Family Medicine & Pediatrics in Henderson will be open longer to accommodate the busy schedules of its patients. The new expanded hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
“The new location allows us to better serve our patients in the Henderson area and provide specialized pediatric care for our youngest patients,” said Ruste Via, CEO of Christian Family Medicine & Pediatrics. “We’re excited to be able to offer more services in Chester County.”
Hearn, a Henderson native who graduated with a Master’s in Nursing from Union University in 2011, will be joined by the following:
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Alexandra Brittain, DNP, APRN, PNP-C, specializes in treating children through age 18. Brittain, who is certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner, earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Freed-Hardeman University. Before joining Christian Family Medicine this year, she worked at Lentz Pediatrics and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Family Nurse Practitioner Caitlin Wamble, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has a master’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Freed-Hardeman University. Before joining Christian Family Medicine, she was a registered nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in the Post-Operative Unit, as well as the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She interned at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare in Germantown, Tenn.
Family Nurse Practitioner Jillian Ferrari, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, will work part-time at the clinic in Henderson. She has a master’s degree in nursing from South College in Knoxville and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bethel University. Besides receiving clinical experience in Christian Family Medicine’s Parsons clinic, she was an advanced practice registered nurse and registered nurse in Fayetteville, N.C., and a registered nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Family Nurse Practitioner Laura Taylor, FNP-C, also works part-time at the Henderson clinic. She received her medical training at Frontier Nursing University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
