City board to discuss use of Gov. Lee’s grant funds

The Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. today (Thursday), May 14, at City Hall.
The board will consider the adoption of a resolution approving the application for Governor Bill Lee’s 2020 Grant Funds to be used for public safety equipment.
Other items on the agenda that will be discussed include: considering approval of the Matching Retirement Rate for the 2019-2020 budget year, considering approving an Audit Contract with ATA for year-ending June 30, 2020 and considering amendments to the Henderson Police Department Standard Operating Procedures.
