City of Henderson to discuss ARP Funds

The members of the City of Henderson Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, at Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave., in the Council Chambers to discuss options on the use of: (1) the city allotment of Federal ARP Funds and (2) the State ARP Funds allocated through TDEC to the City and County for water and sewer improvements. Other items may also be discussed.
No final action will be taken by the board at this meeting. The public is invited to attend and make comments concerning the use of these funds.
Following the meeting on the ARP funds, the city will meet for their regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m.
Items on the agenda include:
Hear a report from Alexander, Thompson & Arnold (ATA), Inc. on the June 30, 2021 Audit Report.
Discuss and consider approval of additional sections of the Fire Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Discuss and approve the plan to perform final closure and abandon Water Well no. 5.
Discuss sewer main issue at Paul Gray Hall on the corner of East Main & White Ave.
Commend the Water Plant Staff for the perfect score of 100% on a recent Sanitary Survey by TDEC.
