CLARENCE PUSSER Obituary – April 21, 1934 – April 8, 2021

Clarence Earl Pusser, 86, of Henderson passed away April 8, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Mike Cothren officiating. Burial followed in Sweetlips Cemetery.
He was born April 21, 1934 at Enville, the son of the late Fred Clarence and Lela Myrtle Adams Pusser. He attended school at Cash School House. He married Mayrene Clayton. They made their home at Enville. He was a truck driver, hauling gravel for 40 years. The past 25 years, he worked in bus maintenance for the Chester County School System. He married Annie Smith. They made their home at Enville. She preceded in death in 2011.
He retired from the bus system about a year ago. He loved riding his dog around and always had a garden. He enjoyed “Loafing Around.”  He enjoyed family gatherings.
He is survived by a son, Dwight (Doris) Pusser; one daughter, Sheila (Larry) Smith both of Henderson; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Pusser; a sister and four brothers.
