The Chester County High School Class 0f 1962 held its 62nd class reunion Saturday, Nov. 2, at Catfish Cabin. Classmates attending were Janice Coady Goodwin, Joyce Newman Beshires, Linda Davis Coady, Peggy Snider Helms, Barbara Weaver Taylor, Mae Morrison Beshires Sasser, Nancy Patterson Durrance, Jean Rowland Jones, Ray Newman, Prince Burkeen, Paul Ervin, Brenda Love Landrum, Terry Seaton, David Smith, Barbara Crouse Cherry, Jerry Wayne Gilliam, Russell Clayton and Diane Hooper Jordan. We acknowledged those that had passed away since our last reunion in 2022. We read messages and shared information from and of those that were not able to come this year. Then, each classmate was given the opportunity to share information about themselves, their lives and families. This was a very enjoyable time, listening to each classmate. We did not get a group picture this year because our official photographer and classmate, Virginia Farris Rowland, was not able to come. We also failed to sing our school Alma Mater, and Nancy Pearl was all set and ready to lead, but we all were so glad to be with and see each other. The date was set for our next reunion, the first Saturday in Nov. 2026.
