CLAUDIE MALONE Obituary – Nov. 15, 1943 – June 28, 2022

Mr. Claudie Anthon Malone, 78, of Henderson passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with his grandson Branson Barnes officiating. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
He was born Nov. 15, 1943 in Chester, growing up in Henderson the son of the late Clyde and Rozella White Malone. He attended Chester County High School.
He worked for Whalley Construction as a young man and later started his own business, Malone Underground Construction installing under cable. He installed for Bell South, Southwest Electric, and several state jobs. He was in business for 40 years.
His hobbies were making Stella, his children, and his grandbabies happy. He had a big heart. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Malone; two daughters, Allison Barnes and Amanda (Glenn) Howell both of Henderson; daughter-in-law, Kay Miller of Henderson; three brothers, Joe Malone, Paul Malone, and James Malone, all of Finger; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Allen Miller in 2020; son-in-law, Bobby Barnes in 2016; and brother, Forrest Malone.
