Community baby shower supports new and expecting mothers

New and expecting mothers were treated to free baby supplies, snacks and door prizes during the Community Baby Shower at the Chester County Library Friday.

The Chester County Library, in partnership with Amerigroup, offered a community baby shower on Friday, May 13. The City of Henderson Police Department performed car seat checks and other vendors present included: Amerigroup, the Chester County Library, Noah’s Ark, Chester County Headstart, Carl Perkins Center, Chester County Health Department, A Step Ahead West TN, and Healthy Families Southwest TN. New and expecting mothers in Chester County were able to receive free baby supplies items, snacks and there were door prizes such as diapers and diaper bags. The Chester County Library has a limited amount of gift bags left over from the event. New and expecting mothers are welcome to stop by the library for a gift bag while supplies last.
