Beth Everett and Cookies for Cancer held an Easter Egg hunt at Gene Record Park March 28. There were 3 different age groups with the first place egg prize being a Care Bear Love Bear. The second place egg was an Easter coloring book and an Easter Basket. The third place prize was a stuffed duck. Also, the 2 older groups of children had a Golden Egg to find that had money and personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut inside it. All children who came received coupons for free food at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Sonic and Dairy Queen here in Henderson. Pictured left to right are Anna Hammons and Sofie Hueter as the event’s Care Bears.
