Crouse impacts Future Farmers of America program at Chester County High School

During the September 17 Chester County Board of Education meeting, Shane Connor was given the position as Chairman, Norris Frank was given the position as Vice Chairman and Becky Hutcherson was given the role of Tennessee Legislative Network representative.
In regards to Covid-19, according to Director of Schools, Troy Kilzer II, at the time of the board meeting, though there were 12 active school age cases within the county, no active cases have been from children in Chester County Schools since September 4.
Additionally, he said that there were zero confirmed transmissions that have occurred at the schools.
Kilzer also wanted to recognize Teresa Crouse who teaches agricultural science at Chester County High School. Since her first year at CCHS in 2017-18, she has made students interested in greenhouse management. She has also made the Garden Shed at CCHS be a very helpful tool in teaching the students and giving them hands on experience.
Student Madison Woofter is one of the students she has impacted who now will be attending TCAT for crop based learning.
“I got into it more and more and now I like doing it,” she said about how Crouse impacted her during class.
