Thomas Dale Rodgers passed away peacefully in his home in Henderson on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Most importantly, he went home to be with his Savior.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Sanford Hill Baptist Church, 644 Sanford St., in Henderson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
There will be no graveside service.
He was a member of Sanford Hill Baptist Church. Early on he worked for the Memphis Police Department before later entering and retiring from the trucking industry.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rodgers; daughters, Mendi Rodgers, Kim Rodgers, Angie (Ricky) Rodgers Glosson and Shelby Rodgers; two sons, Clay (Katie) Rodgers and Dane Rodgers; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Peggy Hodum; and one brother, Raymond “Skip” Rodgers (Terry).
