David Glen Swafford, 50, of Henderson passed away Dec. 15, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Jimmy Howard officiating. Burial followed in Swafford Family Graveyard. The family received friends at the East Main Chapel from 5-8 p.m. on Friday.
He was born Oct. 17, 1970 in Jackson and grew up at Jacks Creek, the son of Homer Glen Swafford and Betty Jo Scott Swafford.
He installed flooring, both in residence and commercial, Swafford Floor work and working for local flooring business. His last business was Rug Rats. He enjoyed fishing and riding horses.
He attended Light House Apostlic Church.
He is survived by his father, Homer Glen (Linda Ruth) Swafford; his mother, Betty Jo Scott Swafford and friend Roger Clifford; a brother, Jimmy Plunk of Reagan; and two sisters, Connie Miller of Jacks Creek and Celinda Davidson of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Swafford, Aug. 4, 2018.
