Hope everyone had a great week.
Happy birthday to Ricky Quarles on Dec. 12 and Ray Lamport on Dec. 14. Enjoy you special day!
Our prayer list: Kristen Carlton Jones, Brianna Landers, Samantha Mosier, Joyce Stewart and Woodie Deming. Continue to remember our first responders, our health care workers, our military and our great country. If you need to add someone to our prayer list, call or text me at 879-9777.
Our sincere condolences to Gary Hyatt’s family. So sad for your loss, Becky.
Chickasaw Country Store and Cafe opened this week. Location is past Chickasaw State Park on Hwy. 100 W. Out of Henderson. The owner is Kelly Wright, and the cook is Beth Everette. They will open at 6 a.m. for breakfast and will also be serving hot, home cooked meals, hamburgers, hot dogs and soft serve ice cream. Those are only a few things; they will serve a variety of foods. Venison chili will be served every day and also venison jerky. Also, gas pumps will open in three weeks. For church people lunch on Sunday will feature fried chicken, but menu items will also be available. Sure sounds good, and to have it so close here in Deanburg is even better. Santa will be there for the kids and kids at heart on Dec. 11! There will be a gift for each child! Wishing these ladies a great success. Everyone come out and enjoy this delicious food and support these ladies!
Our devotion this week: “Confess Your Sins” – “‘Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.’ (NLT) (James 5:16)
“Thinking about confession can bring up emotions prompting you to run away. Try to overcome them. Confession is an uncomfortable action, but is important to the path of healing. When we hide our sins, it only makes things worse. Instead, bring them into the light by sharing your sins. Start today.” Download this app to get your daily devotions: http://jctrois.com http://www.jctrois.com/dailybibledevotion/devotion.html?devo=8LnB6V4IUz
God bless each of you this week!
