DELORES HATCH Obituary – Aug. 31, 1942 – April 19, 2023

Delores Burkhead Hatch, 80, of Henderson passed away April 19, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services were 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, at Chester County Memory Gardens with Ken Frye officiating. The family received friends at the cemetery from 10:30-11 a.m. service time Monday.
She was born in Henderson, Aug. 31, 1942, daughter of the late L.T. and Jessie Melvina Riddley. She grew up in Henderson and was a 1960 graduate of Chester County High School.
She worked at Harmen in Bolivar until it closed then she began working at Premier Manufacturing in Henderson, retiring in 2001. She was a member of The Eastern Star, a daughter of The Confederacy, and a member of the VFW. She was also a member at Faith Fellowship Church. She went by the nickname “Dorie Doodle.”
She is survived by a sister, Helen Weaver of Greeley, Colo.; two nephews, Christopher and Wesley Weaver; and special friend, Sandy Huse.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Mike Burkhead, Douglas Burkhead and Tommy Burkhead; and sister, Dorothy Turner.
