DOUG MCCASKILL Obituary – APRIL 28, 1952 – NOV. 10, 2021

Douglas Lamar McCaskill, 69, of Beech Bluff passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 10, 2021 at his home. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at New Friendship Cemetery with Larry Kirk officiating.
He was born April 28, 1952 in Jackson, the son of the late William Troy and Etta Maxine Priddy McCaskill. He grew up in Henderson and Beech Bluff. He was a 1970 graduate of Chester County High School. After graduation he joined the TN Army National Guard and served six years. He worked at Procter & Gamble in Jackson for 21 years. Then began working for First State Bank in Henderson in 1996, retiring in 2018.
 He married Sandra Jane Forrest on April 22, 1983, and they made their home in Beech Bluff. He was a member of the Meridian Baptist Church in Jackson and served as Sunday school class president.   
He loved sports and especially playing golf. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jane Forrest McCaskill of Beech Bluff; a daughter, Kelly Jane (John) Crawford of Huntsville, Ala.; two grandchildren, Phoebe Jane Crawford and Hudson Clay Crawford; three brothers, Glen (Teresa) McCaskill of Beech Bluff, Norris (Nancy) McCaskill of Beech Bluff and Keith (Jill) McCaskill of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don McCaskill; and one sister-in-law, Pam McCaskill.
