East Chester welcomes new principal in 2025

AMANDA BRASFIELD

Amanda Brasfield is currently serving her third year as East Chester Elementary Assistant Principal and previously served as a Chester County Middle School teacher for seven years. The Chester County School District is excited to welcome Brasfield as the East Chester Elementary School Principal starting in January 2025.
“The Chester County School District is excited to welcome Mrs. Amanda Brasfield as the East Chester Elementary School Principal starting in January 2025. Mrs. Brasfield is currently serving in her third school year as the East Chester Elementary Assistant Principal and previously served as a Chester County Middle School teacher for seven years. I have received many positive comments regarding the selection of Mrs. Brasfield for this leadership position from East Chester staff and school district leaders,” stated Chester County Board of Education Director of Schools Troy Kilzer, II on Brasfield becoming East Chester’s newest principal.
“I am incredibly blessed and excited to serve as the principal of East Chester Elementary School, where every day is an opportunity to inspire, grow, and celebrate our amazing students and staff. Thank you to our East Chester families and everyone throughout the district for your unwavering support, it means the world to me. I look forward to serving in this role for many years to come, watching our students grow and achieve great things,” said Brasfield on becoming principal in new year.
