Library begins Fall Storytime

The Chester County Library began its Fall Storytime Program on Tuesday, Sept. 24. They began by reading “It’s Fall!” by Renee Kurilla. After the story, they created fall-time wind chimes.

Junior High Book Club creates origami

The Chester County Library Junior High Book Club met on Monday afternoon, Sept. 23. They reviewed their last book on the reading list “Song for a Whale” by Lynne Kelly. Afterward, they created whale origami, which proved to be very difficult for everyone but was successful in the end. They learned about the “Blue 52” whale, also known as “the loneliest whale” because it omits a 52 hertz sound frequency and appears to be the only such whale known to exist. They discussed next month’s book which was decided to be something more “spooky” or “scary” to fit in with the holiday season of Halloween.

Chamber of Commerce welcomes Leadership Chester Class of 2025

The Henderson|Chester County Chamber of Commerce held the first day of Leadership Chester Class of 2025 at the Youth Town Ropes and Obstacle course working on team building Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization dedicated to supporting businesses and shaping a better community.
