Hello from Enville! Hopefully, everyone is having a great week! The rain has ceased for a while, and the temperatures have been good, but this week is going to be hot; after all, it is still summer!
Well, our Enville Wild Goose Shindig is upon us. It will be from 4-8 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 26. We will have food, fun and fellowship, barbeque pork with baked beans and slaw, barbeque chicken and bologna, hamburgers and hotdogs. A silent auction, cakewalk (cake donations are welcome), corn hole tournament and music by Bo Jack Killingsworth. A 50/50 drawing will take place at 8 p.m. Please come out and support the Enville Volunteer Fire Department and the Enville Community Club.
Sanford Hill Baptist Church will have revival beginning Sunday, Aug. 27. There will be a meal following the morning service. Endless Highway will perform at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning followed by Pastor Randy Latch preaching at 11 am. On Sunday night, Pastor Allen Guyer will preach at 6:30 p.m. On Monday-Wednesday, meals will be provided from 5-6 p.m., and services will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night. Guests will be Pastor Brent McMinn on Monday night, Pastor Justin Heins on Tuesday night and Pastor Roc Collins on Wednesday night. Please come and expect a blessing from services and music.
If you are campers at Chickasaw State Park, there will a camp service at 8:30 am led by Sanford Hill Baptist Church. All are welcome!
