Freed-Hardeman ladies golf in second

The Lady Lions of Freed-Hardeman University had a great start to their final tuneup before the postseason by finishing the first round in second place after shooting 320 (+32) after one day at the Missouri Baptist Spring Invitational.
Bailey Gilbert continues to pace the Lady Lions, finishing the first round in second place after shooting 74 (+2) with a birdie on the par-4 13th hole.
Hannah Ruth Walton carded 12 pars en route to a 78 (+6) score to have a share of sixth place. Reagan Malone and Makenzie Wilson both tallied 84 (+12) in their first round with Wilson dropping a birdie on the par-4 14th hole.
Ansley Pratt finished up the day for FHU with an 85 (+13) with a birdie on the par-4 first hole.
