The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions took down Oakwood University at home Tuesday, January 24, by a score of 103-38.
The Lady Lions were in control for the entire game, utterly crushing the Ambassadors. Every team member was included in the scoring action.
FHU shot 61% from the field, 39% from 3-point range, and scored 38 points from 27 Ambassador turnovers. The team also scored 74 points off the bench.
Five Lady Lions scored double digits, with Hannah Hughes leading the way with 15 points. Behind Hughes, Carissa Curtis scored 13 points, KJ White and Raegan Purvine both scored 12 points, and Caroline Chambers scored 10 points.
After the win, the Lady Lions improved their record to 14-5. The team will return to action as they will travel to conference foe Lindsey Wilson College Thursday, January 27. Tip off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
