Freed-Hardeman Lions Wrap it up in Mississippi

The men’s golf team finished up the Blue Mountain Golf Classic at the Mossy Oak Golf Course today. The Lions improved on their first round totals by shooting 323 as a team.
First up today was junior Tyler Rhodes. Rhodes took 13 strokes off of his first round score by shooting 77 (+5). Following Rhodes was senior Bowman Blocker, shooting 78 (+6) in his final round. Junior EJ Hill shot 82 (+10) as sophomore Ben Shelton improved on his first round by shooting 86 (+14). Rounding out today’s totals was junior Austin Warren, shooting 90 (+18).
The Lions improved as a team by 19 strokes and finished in a tie for 11th place with Mississippi University for Women (Ms.). Up next, the Lions will play in the Mid-South Conference Spring Preview hosted at The Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain in Crossville, Tennessee on April 3-4.
