Lady Lion Senior Forward Alyssa LeMay surpassed the 1,000 point career scoring mark November 27th against Brescia University and was recently honored during the last home contest for the Lady Lions at the Brewer Sports Center.
LeMay, a native of Mount Pleasant Tennessee, has accrued 168 three point makes in her career, shooting an impressive 37 percent clip. To go along with her incredible scoring, she has tallied 558 rebounds, 159 assists, and 13 career double-doubles.
“Alyssa is one of the most competitive people that I know,” said FHU Head Coach Joshua Epperson. “This competitive spirit has helped push her to achieve something amazing. The best part is that she has achieved it while still putting her team’s success first at every point in time.”
LeMay has been a staple the starting lineup for the Lady Lions this season and has led her team to an 11-3 record on the season and 4-3 record in Mid-South Conference play.
