All available space for Freed-Hardeman University’s popular Horizons program is filled and registration is closed for this year. Now in its 39th year, Horizons is set for July 7-12, when almost 1,000 junior high and high school students are expected to be on campus.
The week-long spiritual experience, focuses on creating an encouraging environment to equip and challenge young church leaders. This year’s theme is “Rise Up.” In addition to the traditional Horizons program, selected juniors and seniors who have attended Horizons at least three years will participate in the Horizons Mentoring Experience for enhanced leadership training.
Horizons is directed by FHU Bible teacher Matt Cook with the aid of assistant directors John David Schwartz and Kaylan Stewart and a staff of more than 250 counselors and teachers.
Those who would like to attend Horizons this summer but have not registered may be placed on a waiting list.
