UT Extension Chester County spearheaded an effort, with input from community partners and stakeholders, to seek funding to construct a new space to host all things agriculture and more. On May 9, UT Extension Chester County, led by County Director Steve Rickman, secured a $150,000 grant from Tennessee Department of Agriculture for the construction of the Chester County Agriculture Center. The facility will be a covered arena for hosting educational events as well as livestock shows and other community events.
