Henderson and Chester County get in Christmas spirit with holiday events

The annual lighting of the Christmas Tree will kick off the holiday season at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 29. Pictured is the top of the Christmas Tree on the Chester County Courthouse lawn.

Henderson and Chester County have a full line up of Christmas and Holiday events coming soon.
Following is the full Henderson/Chester County Christmas event schedule.
November 29: The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is to begin at 6 p.m. on the Courthouse lawn. There will be free hot chocolate, Christmas caroling, pictures with Santa, blow up jumpers, face painting, movies and balloon animals.
December 1: Henderson Christmas Parade is set to start at 7 p.m. on Main Street.
December 2-3: Henderson Hometown Shopping Weekend – Visit any participating restaurant or store for a chance to win one of two $150 shopping sprees. Your name will be entered into the drawing once for every $25 spent at the participating locations.
December 3: Ultimate Christmas Variety Show will occur at 7:30 p.m. at Williams Auditorium.
December 10: Guy Penrod Christmas will take place at 3 p.m. at Williams Auditorium.
Parade applications must be submitted in person at the Henderson|Chester County Chamber of Commerce office (111 East Main Street) no later than 4 p.m. Monday, November 28.
