Henderson City Board amends travel mileage rates

On March 12, The City Board unanimously approved amendments to travel rates for mileages and meals for city business.
Now, the standard mileage rate paid for use of a personal vehicle on travel related to city business is 55 cents per mile, however, if a city vehicle is available and he/she decides to still use their personal vehicle it is 28 cents per mile.
The meals and incidentals rate while on travel for city business is amended to $55 per day.
They also discussed amendments to the City Personnel Policy and the Travel Policy, and approved the first reading of the amendments unanimously.
